Step 1

Meet Our Mortgage Lending Team
Lincoln Federal's Mortgage Lending Team specializes in helping you obtain the best home mortgage loan for your needs. Our Loan Originators are experts in their field and will work with you throughout your mortgage loan process providing personal service and experience. Step 3
Choose A Mortgage Type
There are many different types of mortgages. Which one is right for you? When reviewing your options, you should consider your current financial picture, how your finances might change in the future, how long you intend to remain in the home, and how comfortable you are with fluctuating mortgage payments. Lincoln Federal has a complete menu of mortgage loan programs to fit every mortgage loan need. We specialize in residential loans for either the secondary market or portfolio (in-house) loans. This enables the structuring of financing packages that lead to successful purchases.

Approval Process
Lincoln Federal offers FREE pre-approval, competitive rates, and consideration for all credit grades. If you have already selected the home of your dreams and are ready to submit your complete application for final approval, please contact your Mortgage Loan Originator so the process can begin.

Submit Your Loan Application
Lincoln Federal offers many ways to begin the application process . . . over the telephone or in person, or simply click here to download a PDF of our application. Please provide your completed application to the Mortgage Loan Originator of your choice or call (402) 474-1400 or (800) 333-2158 to be directed to an experienced member of our Mortgage Lending Team in your neighborhood.
Step 6
Use A Mortgage Loan Checklist
Once you receive a Good Faith Estimate from us based on the information you provided during application, you may indicate an intent to proceed with the loan process. At that time, your Mortgage Loan Originator may require additional information and documentation. Lincoln Federal has compiled a checklist to help you gather the information necessary to continue processing your mortgage loan.
Step 7
Track Mortgage Rates
Lincoln Federal prides itself on offering competitive mortgage rates for both secondary market and in-house loans. Secondary Market rates are constantly changing. In order to stay informed about today's best rates, you may contact your Mortgage Loan Originator or check rates here 24-hours a day.
Step 8
Close On Your New Mortgage Loan
Once your loan is approved, your Mortgage Loan Originator will contact you to schedule the closing, verify your closing costs with the title company, and address any additional questions or concerns before closing. The closing is generally held in our offices.
